On Tuesday, July 7, Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium was received by the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, at the Presidential Mansion in Athens, with whom he had an extensive and interesting discussion on all matters.
The Metropolitan then visited Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece, whom he warmly thanked for granting him the canonical authorization and blessing to officiate within the Archdiocese of Athens and to ordain Fr. Konstantinos Dedes. Archbishop Ieronymos expressed his joy for the meeting and wished for the progress of the Metropolis of Belgium.
