Following the decisions by the Norwegian State regarding the preventive measures for the public health protection and the announcements by the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Holy Metropolis of Sweden, the faithful will be allowed to participate in the Divine Liturgy and other services from June 6 at the Metropolitan Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin in Oslo.
The maximum number of attendees is set at 50, at least until June 15, 2020, in accordance with the measures currently in force. When entering the church, the faithful must keep a distance of 1 meter between each other.
The data of the faithful inside the church will be recorded (at least until June 15, 2020) while they will comply with the prescribed protection measures (mask, disposable gloves, etc.).
The faithful who belong to groups at risk, especially the sick and the elderly, are kindly requested to remain in their homes.
There will be antiseptic/disinfectant at the entrance of the church while the antidoron, artos, kollyva, etc., will be distributed at the exit of the church.
The operation of the Sunday school, the Norwegian language lessons, the other parish gatherings and activities, the coffee offering on Sundays are suspended until further notice.
No services will be held at the parishes outside Oslo in June.
The measures will be reviewed later, depending on the developments on the COVID-19 pandemic and following the instructions to be given by the Norwegian State from 15 June onwards.
