Metropolitan Daniel of Chiatura and Sachkhere, during his Sunday sermon, said that his country had avoided the pandemic by God’s grace, despite the fact that churches were not closed during the period of quarantine.
According to reports, Metropolitan Daniel (Datuashvili) said that people who were faithful to God and their homeland would be miraculously blessed by God. “We saw an example of His blessing,” the Hierarch said.
“This country, in spite of its many problems, has proved to be much more protected than other, bigger countries, and this has happened because our people have given us everything they had in their possession. People who fight to the end for their land, love and morals, will be able to experience the miracle of God,” Metropolitan Daniel highlighted in his Sunday sermon.
