Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will travel to Berlin on Thursday, August 27 to attend the informal meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the European Union Member States (“Gymnich”).
The talks will focus on the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean in the light of escalating Turkish delinquency in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean, according to a foreign ministry statement. The situation in Belarus, EU – Russia relations and the geopolitical implications of the pandemic will also be examined.
On the sidelines of the council, on Thursday, Dendias will meet with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.
