Measures regarding the obligatory use of face mask in places of worship as well as the prohibition of processions will be extended for at least another 14 days.
The relevant announcement was made by the Deputy Minister for Civil Protection, Nikos Chardalias, in today’s briefing on the COVID-19 situation.
It is reminded that the use of face mask is mandatory in the churches since the start of the month while shortly before August 15 (Feast of Dormition) the government went on to suspend processions.
