The 8th International Scientific Conference will be held on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 October by the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece.
This conference is part of a series of 10 scientific conferences on the 200 years since the Greek Revolution (1821-2021).
This year’s conference focuses on “The Great Figures of the Greek Revolution – Unity and Disunity in the Greek Revolution”.
Experts and researchers will give relevant presentations.
The official opening will take place on Friday, October 18 at 5 pm in the Event Hall of the Palace of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, Iasiou 1.
The Special Synodical Committee on Cultural Identity, chaired by Metropolitan Ignatios of Demetrias and Almyros, is organizing the conference. The Scientific Committee is chaired by the Protopresbyterian, Father Georgios Metallinos, Emeritus Professor of the University of Athens.
