The Metropolitan Council of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens met today in the presence of Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece.
The Archbishop thanked Metropolitan Symeon of Fthiotida, up to recently Protosyncellus of the Archdiocese, who had chaired to more than 130 councils, for his offer and assistance, and presented the new President, Protosyncellus Archimandrite Varnavas Theocharis, to whom he wished every success.
