The Church of Greece decides on the next day after the opening of the churches

The Standing Holy Synod of the Church of Greece decides today on the next moves of the Church.

The SHS that meets today has been called to examine the next day, after the decision of the State to open the churches for the faithful from next Sunday.

The main topic of the meeting is the implementation of the rules of hygiene, as well as the double and outdoor Divine Liturgies. The anxiety of all the hierarchs is great as there is always the risk of a churchgoer contractng the disease, something that will mean the revision of many measures.

It is clear that the Church is not going to make any compromises on the Divine Liturgy.

Along with the observance of the measures, the SHS is also going to look at important issues that have to do with the operation of several structures from now on, as in many metropolises they have already begun to operate.
