Standing Holy Synod of Church of Greece to meet in its new composition

The Standing Holy Synod of the Church of Greece will meet on September 1-3 in its new composition.

The 164th period of the Synod is considered one of the most critical since, in addition to the theological issues, it will be called to deal with the developments of the pandemic and to determine the attitude of the Church in a very difficult period for the faithful.

The provocation of Turkey and the conversion of Orthodox monuments into mosques are among the topics that will be discussed many times, as well as the finances that have been affected and have significantly affected the operation of the Metropolises.
