Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met the Metropolitan of Orthodox Armenians of Greece, Kegham Khatcherian, the President, Pavlos Tsolakyan, and members of the National Central Council of the Armenian Community of Greece. During the meeting, the long-standing historical ties between Greece and Armenia were emphasized.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis praised the contribution and fertile presence of the Armenian Community in Greece and reaffirmed the government’s continuous interest in preserving Armenian cultural identity.
“You are the first prime minister, after 125 years, to officially receive the Armenian Community into his office,” said the President of the National Central Council of the Armenian Community, Pavlos Tsolakian.
