Today, the celebrations for the Evangelismos tis Theotokou (Annunciation of the Virgin) and the national Palingenesis of March 21, 1821, were concluded with the Divine Liturgy and the Doxology at the Metropolis of Athens.
The Doxology was performed by Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece, in the presence of the President of the Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos, the Minister of Defence Evangelos Apostolakis, Ministers, State Secretaries, Members of the Parliament, Leadership of the Military of Greece, the Exarch of the Holy Sepulchre Archimandrite Damianos, delegates of other religions and a crowd of faithful.
After the ending of the Doxology, Archbishop gave all the participants his best wishes.
