The Deputy Minister for Macedonia and Thrace, Theodoros Karaoglou, invited Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece to visit the exhibition of works of art entitled “Contemporary ‘images’ of St. Demetrius in Thessaloniki”.

Mr. Karaoglou visited the Archbishop this morning and briefed him on the exhibition being organized by the Ministry of the Interior (sector Macedonia and Thrace) in the historic building of the Administration.

He referred to the keen interest of the visitors, which was the reason to claim and ultimately secure the extension of the exhibition until December 15, underlining that it would be a great pleasure and honour for the Archbishop to visit the exhibition.

This is the first time, after all, that 55 paintings and engravings, 15 metalworks and 3 ceramics have been collected and exhibited, all inspired by the Patron Saint of Thessaloniki, Saint Demetrius.
