Conference on religious monuments in Epirus organised by Church of Greece

The 4th Panhellenic Conference on Pilgrimage Tours is organised by the Synodical Office of Pilgrimage Tours of the Church of Greece on November 8-10. The conference will take place in several cities of Epirus region such as Arta, Preveza, Ioannina.

The theme of the conference is “Approaching Religious Monuments and Culture of Epirus – New Roads to Unique Pilgrimage Destinations”. The conference is under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the Greek National Tourism Organisation.

Representatives of the Metropolises of the Church of Greece as well as representatives of the Patriarchates of Alexandria and Jerusalem, the Churches of Albania, Serbia, Bulgaria and Cyprus will attend this inter-Orthodox conference.

Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece will open the conference while Metropolitan Kallinikos of Arta and Metropolitan Kyrillos of Rhodes as the representative of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will address the conference participants.
