Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens responded to those who criticize the Church for its attitude towards the measures against the pandemic.
“Our fellow man is everything. If we do not love our fellow man, both the Church and the state misses the point of life,” said Archbishop Ieronymos, describing the reactions to the measures of the Authorities as “superficial”.
“Superficiality is for other things. The condition is critical. We all need to think. “We have a great responsibility,” said the Archbishop, emphasizing that “what we won in the beginning will be a pity to lose along the way.”
