Archbishop Ieronymos: The Church is always willing to help with the problems of the moment

Deputy Minister of Immigration Policy Angelos Tolkas visited this morning Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece.

During the meeting, they referred to the migration issue, which the deputy minister described as a global phenomenon, while praising the work of the Church and of the “Apostoli” NGO for their valuable support.

“We talked about the great contribution of the Church into areas we can look for new co-operations on the crucial issue of the immigration,” said Angelos Tolkas. He also noted that it was an important meeting and in this context we can build good relationships in order to have favorable results for people, the country and the local communities. ”

The Archbishop expressed his joy to the deputy minister’s visit and said they exchanged views on many issues stressing that the Church is always willing to help to deal with the problems and challenges of the moment.
