Two senior abbots of Mount Athos Community are reportedly taking part in the official delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, which will attend the enthronement of the new Metropolitan of Kiev, Mr Epiphanius, sources told Romfea.gr.
The senior abbots of two Monasteries, are participating as members of the Ecumenical Patriarch’s convoy, and not as representatives of the Mount Athos community.
It is noteworthy that, as Romfea.gr revealed yesterday, the Holy Community decided not to send an official delegation.
