The works at the nursing home in Schinoudi of Imvros began with the blessings of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
Metropolitan Cyril of Imvros and Tenedos, together with the architect, Mrs Daphne, inspected the beginning of the works yesterday.
It should be noted that the nursing home of Imvros has been abandoned for almost 60 years.
