In a climate of deep emotion, the relic of the late Archbishop Stylianos of Australia lies in state at the Cathedral of “The Annunciation of Our Lady” in Sydney.

It should be noted that a number of believers swarmed the temple to worship the relic of Archbishop Stylianos.

Then, Metropolitan Panteleimon of Vryoula and hierarchs of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia performed exequies.

According to an announcement of the Archdiocese of Australia, the funeral service of Archbishop Stylianos will be held on Saturday, March 30 at 11:30 in Sydney, at the Cathedral of the Annunciation of our Lady.

On Saturday morning (Australian time) there will be a Divine Liturgy, and at 11:30 the funeral service will be held followed by the burial at the Rookwood Cemetery.

In the cemetery there will be a procession, accompanied by all the bishops and clergy to the back of the holy temple of St. Athanasius.

The ceremony will be featured on-line at the Archdiocese’s channel on youtube and on its Facebook page.

A message for Stylianos’s passing has also been sent by Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
