The name day of the Ecumenical Patriarch will be celebrated in the “honourable presence” of Archbishop Ieronymos

A statement by the Ecumenical Patriarchate characterizes as “Honourable” the presence of Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece, at the celebration of the Ecumenical Patriarch’s name day.

As it is mentioned, on Monday, June 10, the Ecumenical Patriarch will officiate at the Vespers of his name day in the Church of the Life-Giving Font of the Theotokos in Balikli, while afterwards a reception will follow in the courtyard of the monastery, where he will receive wishes from the clergy and the laymen.

On Tuesday, June 11, the Patriarch will officiate at the Divine Liturgy in the patriarchal church, together with clerics from abroad ,and in the “honourable presence of the Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece.”
