With the presence of a few priests and the absolute close relatives, the funeral service of the blessed archimandrite Alexios Chehadeh, who lost the battle with the coronavirus, took place yesterday afternoon.
The funeral service was officiated by Metropolitan Georgios of Emirates and was attended by Bishops Moussa of Daraya and Patriarchal Vicar Bishop Efraim of Seluecia, who conveyed the condolences of Patriarch John of Antioch.
