Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew met the Primate of the Church of Poland, Metropolitan Savva of Warsaw, today, Friday, May 3.

The meeting was held in the framework of Ecumenical Patriarch’s visit to Poland on the March commemorating the six million Jews who were killed in the Nazi concentration camps and sending a message for a stronger condemnation of antisemitism.

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew was accompanied by Metropolitan Emmanuel of France.

After the Doxology held in the chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius, Metropolitan Savva of Warsaw welcomed the Ecumenical Patriarch.
On his part, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew thanked the Metropolitan of Warsaw for his reception and referred to the very good and friendly relations between the two Hierarchs.

Finally, the Ecumenical Patriarch and Metropolitan Savva of Warsaw visited the Hagia Sophia Cathedral in Warsaw.
