Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew arrived yesterday, Thursday, August 13, 2020, in his birthplace on the island of Imbros, in order to celebrate with his compatriots the Dormition of the Theotokos.
The Patriarch was received by Metropolitan Kyrillos of Imvros and Tenedos, head of the clergy and the Greeks of the island.
The Patriarch, on his arrival, worshiped in the Cathedral of the Theotokos.
