A programme agreement for the construction of a day nursery in Dilessi, Boeotia, was signed today at noon at the Holy Archdiocese of Athens between Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece and Metropolitans George of Thebes and Levadia and Symeon of Fthiotida, representative of the Vafeiadakeio Foundation, while board members of the Foundation as well as associates of the Archdiocese were present.
The Archbishop thanked and congratulated the Metropolis of Thebes and the Vafeiadakeio Foundation for this initiative and referred to the need to build a nursery and a kindergarten in the area, wishing that the inauguration would take place very soon.
The Metropolitan of Thebes thanked the Archbishop for his inspiration and actions, as well as all the contributors to this effort, and spoke of the desire of the locals to create such a space.
