St. Luke’s Orthodox Cathedral in Hong Kong closes

Μetropolitan Nektarios of Hong Kong decided to close St. Luke’s Orthodox Cathedral in Hong Kong.

According to orthodoxia.info, the Orthodox Metropolitanate of Hong Kong and Southeast Asia decided to close the Orthodox cathedral in compliance with the directive sent by the Hong Kong Government to all the religious communities of the country in fear of an outbreak of coronavirus.

The Orthodox Metropolitanate of Hong Kong and South East Asia has announced that the Cathedral of Saint Luke in Hong Kong will remain closed until March 31, 2020.

But the Roman Catholics have also suspended all Lenten services as well as Sunday Masses.
