On May 29, the anniversary of the Fall of Constantinople by the Ottomans, on which mosques will reopen for the first time this year after their closure due to the pandemic, the neighbors of Greece chose to provoke once again the Christian world.

Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs is holding the first prayer of Friday after the lockdown due to the coronavirus on the day after tomorrow in the square between Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.

According to the Cypriot news agency politis.com.cy, Ali Erbas, head of Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs, said online that “On May 29, which is a symbol of conquest, is the time to implement the conquest of these mosques.” Erbas himself will be present at the prayer to address, as he said, “to all Muslims.”
