Prime Minister Mitsotakis visits the Archbishop of Cyprus

Shortly after 9 am, the new Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, arrived in the Holy Archdiocese of Cyprus with his entourage, where he had a scheduled meeting with the Primate of the Church of Cyprus, Archbishop Chrysostomos.

The Archbishop warmly welcomed the new Prime Minister and had the opportunity to discuss with him in his office issues concerning both the national problem of Cyprus and the Church.

The Prime Minister donated to the Archbishop a silver plaque bearing Apostle Paul’s Hymn to Love, while Archbishop Chrysostomos offered Mr Mitsotakis a silver disc depicting the Apostles Paul and Barnabas as the founders of the Church of Cyprus.
