Just like in Lesbos, a priest was found positive for the coronavirus in Crete, specifically in Messara. According to Creta24, 5 of the 48 residents tested positive for the virus, including a priest, his wife and two village church chanters.

As it was announced, 5 of the 48 residents of Messara were found positive for the coronavirus in Crete, where a mobile testing unit of the National Public Health Organisation (EODY) carried out diagnostic tests on Saturday.
The tests were conducted as part of the second phase of the coronavirus tracking project carried out in the area in the previous days.

It is recalled that the alarm was raised in Mytilene, on the island of Lesbos, where a priest was found positive for the coronavirus. The priest, who was not performing any church service, began to have symptoms and, therefore, went to hospital. As soon as he learned that he had contracted the virus, he was quarantined. At the same time, a contact tracking process has already started, as reported by the website stonisi.gr.
