Patriarch Neophyte of Bulgaria addressed a message to the faithful, on the occasion of the coronavirus crisis.
In his message, the Patriarch said that at this moment, “our nation is threatened by the spread of the pandemic”, and that everyone is called upon to be responsible to their neighbor and homeland.
However, he realizes that at the same time this is “the most mystical time of the Church, time for preparation and anticipation of the Feast of all Feasts – the Resurrection of Christ.”
The Bulgarian Patriarch calls on the faithful to abide by the rules of the state, as well as the recommendations of the Holy Synod and the bishops, and to pray.
