Metropolitan of France at the Thronal Feast of the Church of Cyprus

Metropolitan Emmanuel of France traveled to Nicosia as official representative of the Ecumenical Patriarchate at the Thronal Feast of the Church of Cyprus.

Metropolitan Emmanuel received a warm welcome by Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus, and other Archpriests of the Church of Cyprus.

On the day of the feast of the Holy Apostle Barnabas, founder of the Church of Cyprus, a Synodic Divine Liturgy was held at Apostle Barnabas Holy Church in Dasoupolis, presided by Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus.

The Sacred Service, along with Chrysostomos, was also performed by Metropolitans Emmanuel of France,  also Georgios of Paphos, Chrysostomos of Kitio, Athanasios of Limassol, Isaiah of Tamasos and Oreinis, and Bishops and the Bishops Christoforos of Karpasia and Nikodimos of Nitria, Exarch of the Patriarchate of Alexandria at the Church of Cyprus.

Metropolitan Emmanuel of France, at the end of the Synodic Divine Liturgy, read a message by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus warmly thanked the Ecumenical Patriarch for his message, and the Metropolitan of France for his visit.

He once again reiterated his respect and love for Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and the Holy and Great Church of Christ, emphasizing that the Church of Cyprus has repeatedly received support from the Ecumenical Throne.
