Metropolitan asks children not to wear face masks at school because they will become… demons

Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou

Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou called on the parents of his diocese to keep their children away from school even for years so that they do not wear face masks.

The Metropolitan who, since the very beginning of the COVID-19, calls on the citizens to resist the measures, told his audience that if the children wore masks, they would become demons.

“Keep your eyes peeled on your children. Both the eyes and the mouth are part of a face that God wants to see without a face mask. Do you know when the ancient Greeks wore a mask? In tragedies and comedies. If we teach our children now to wear face masks, our society will be full of demons after 20 years. Can you believe it? Not humans… but demons,” he said.

Metropolitan’s controversial sermon, however, does not stop here. He urges parents not to send their children to school but to teach them at home on their own even if it takes months or years.

“In my opinion, you need to find a way for your children to never wear a face mask. That’s my opinion. I tell you this with all due responsibility. It is preferable to stay, a few years or months without education, the so-called European education. This education? Big deal!” said the Metropolitan of Morphou in a pithy way who apparently does not agree with the curricula in schools, adding

“Why don’t you teach them at home? Home education. Make your home a church. Do your home a pharmacy. You will see in a little while, they will tell you that the medicines are over.”

According to the Metropolitan, all this is happening in order to force the faithful to be vaccinated and to lose their immortal soul, as he said, highlighting that “they want to drive society into chaos and terror. Both frightened and lost […] to say: the vaccine. Bring us a vaccine. So they want our will, they want our freedom. They want our soul.”

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the Metropolitan of Morphou has made controversial statements.
