Letter from Ecumenical Patriarch to President of Ukraine

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew sent wishes for the speedy recovery of the spouse of the Ukrainian President.

As reported by “Fos Fanariou,” Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew sent a letter to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in which he expressed his warm wishes for the speedy recovery of his spouse, Olena Zelenska, who fell ill with COVID-19 disease and has been hospitalized in Kyiv.

“We assure you that we wholeheartedly pray to the Lord to help her resume her daily activities and responsibilities soon,” the Ecumenical Patriarch said in his letter while hoping that the COVID-19 pandemic will end soon so that the normalcy is restored in the country.
