The scenes witnessed early in the morning in the country’s churches were touching. Faithful, keeping distances and wearing masks and gloves, gathered outside the holy temples, waiting to be allowed to enter for what the government’s plan has described as “individual worship.”

According to government announcements as of Monday, May 4, places of worship are open to the public for “individual worship with a limit of up to 10 people.”

The camera spotted worshipers outside the churches and then inside the temples.

Some faithful asked the priests for the Holy Fire, which they were not able to receive as all the temples were closed during the Easter period as part of the national effort to stop the coronavirus pandemic.
