Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias condemned on Thursday the Turkish illegal behaviour during the meeting he had with NATO secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg in Berlin.
In parallel, he notes that Greece shows composure but it will defend its sovereignty and its sovereign rights, diplomatic sources said.
According to the same sources, at the meeting that was held on the sidelines of the informal EU Foreign Ministers Council meeting, it was noted that NATO should not accept such behaviour that violates the principles and undermine the cohesion and effectiveness of the Alliance while on his part Stoltenberg expressed the intention to try to de-escalate the situation.
According to a Foreign Ministry post on Twitter, the two top officials discussed the developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Turkish illegal behaviour.
