According to Romfea.gr sources, the former Patriarch of Jerusalem, Irenaios, is hospitalized in intensive care unit.
The information indicates that Patriarch Irenaios was admitted to the hospital after having suffered pulmonary oedema and cardiac arrhythmia.
The doctors are optimistic despite the fact that the former Patriarch is in critical health condition.
Finally, it is not known whether Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem or a representative of the Patriarchate has visited Irenaios.
