On Sunday, July 26, 2020, former Bishop of Botosani, Calinic, was enthroned as new Archbishop of Suceava and Rădăuți at the Orthodox Cathedral in Suceava during a special ceremony.
The new Archbishop of Suceava and Rădăuți was elected by the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church, following the repose of the 90-year-old Archbishop Pimen Suceveanul.
