Enlarged Synod for coronavirus on Monday under Archbishop of Athens 

Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens invited the Metropolitans of Attica to participate in the extraordinary Standing Synod, which will be held tomorrow in the afternoon.

According to orthodoxia.info, the Head of the Church of Greece asked the 11 Metropolitans of Attica to attend the Synod on Monday in order to make decisions together with the Standing Holy Synod. The Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, had a meeting with Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens during which he asked him to keep churches open only for individual worship and for performing important mysteries. However, only a handful of people will be allowed to be in the churches.
