Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will be at the Church of Panagia Koumariotissa on Sunday, August 9, in the community of Neochori.
The Ecumenical Patriarch will preside over the Great Paraklesis to the Virgin Mary at the church with his entourage.
After the service, Asnu Bilban, Professor of Art History at the University of Constantinople, will deliver a speech entitled: “Bir Devehir Devleti, Bir Şehir Medeniyeti: Bizans’ı Kültürü ve Sanatı Üzerinden ızerinden Algı” as part of the cultural events “Theotokeia 2020” and the reception in the courtyard of the church.
