Ecumenical Patriarch at healthcare and support facilities for refugees

On Wednesday, December 11, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew visited the healthcare and support facilities for refugees, which operates under the auspices of the Inter-Christian Council for the Protection of Refugees and Migrants in Constantinople.

The Ecumenical Patriarch, accompanied by Metropolitan Panteleimon of Maroneia and Komotini, who is on a visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and Patriarchal Deacon Alexandros, who is the permanent representative of the Ecumenical Patriarchate to the aforementioned body, was informed about the work carried out in order to support our fellow human beings who are suffering. Afterwards, the Ecumenical Patriarch offered presents and sweets to the children and their parents.

Earlier, he had held an audition with Metropolitan Panteleimon at the Phanar, accompanied by the businessman Panagiotis Karavetis.

Today, Thursday, September 12, on Saint Spyridon feast, Metropolitan of Maroneia and Komotini accompanies the Ecumenical Patriarch to the Halki seminary, where the Ecumenical Patriarch will preside over the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Patriarchal and Stavropegial Skete of St. Spyridon.
