Ecumenical Patriarch at Hagia Sophia in Warsaw

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew visited the Holy Church of Hagia Sophia at Warsaw.

During his visit, Bartholomew congratulated Metropolitan Savva of Warsaw and All Poland for the eagerness and great effort over the supervision of the construction of Hagia Sophia of Warsaw, which, as the Church of Constantinople, connects the faithful congregation of both local Churches.

Metropolitan Savva, reminding of the momentous event of the ceremony of the blessing and laying of the church’s foundation stone by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on December 5, 2015, thanked the latter for his visit and wished him spiritual and physical strength, with the blessings of God.

Afterwards, Metropolitan of Warsaw guided Ecumenical Patriarch around the area of the currently under construction Hagia Sophia Church of Warsaw.
