Ioakeim Kampouropoulos, philologist and Director of the reopened Greek Gymnasium and Lyceum of Imvros, was appointed Archon by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew with the offikion of “Eftaxias”.
The chirothesia took place last night (20.8.2020) during the Patriarchal officiation at Vespers, in the village of Agridia.
After the chirothesia, the Patriarch addressed the new Archon with warm words of love, and the honoree replied, thanking him with gratitude.
