The West Bank’s Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem will close for preventive reasons, after suspected Covid-19 cases, as announced by a church official.
“We respect the officials’ decision since security has the priority,” said the church official. The Palestinian minister of Health called on the churches and the mosques to temporarily close in order to prevent the coronavirus spread.
“If the Church does not close today, it will happen tomorrow,” added the unknown church official.
