On the occasion of the celebration of the Greek Revolution and the Feast of the Annunciation, following the decision by Metropolitan Ignatios of Dimitras, the bells will be tolling tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. in all the churches of Volos and Magnesia.
According to the decision by Metropolitan Ignatios, this symbolic act will take place in all the churches and monasteries under the jurisdiction of Metropolis of Dimitrias, not only for the moral boost of the people during this great trial the homeland and humanity are facing, but also for the tribute to the Fighters of 1821, the Heroes of the Greek Revolution.
At the same time, the Metropolitan of Dimitrias urged the citizens to place Greek flags on the courtyards and balconies of their homes, to give courage and empower all those who are tested by the coronavirus scourge, as well as the doctors and nurses who are taking the lead in the fight against coronavirus in all hospitals in Greece.
