A small group of believers gathered outside the synodal mansion this morning to protest against the closure of the churches.
The faithful shouted slogans such as “We are not afraid of the virus, only of God”, “Shepherds, tell us who you serve”, “Voice of the people, wrath of God,” “Ηow could you close the churches, tempting people without services.”
The rally lasted about half an hour and the protesters left peacefully.
The Standing Holy Synod is meeting today to discuss current issues.
