A Greek priest was arrested today in a village in the municipality of Dirfys-Messapia.
The arrest followed a complaint regarding the opening of a church, in which a priest was giving the faithful Holy Communion, in violation of measures taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The complaint was made by a citizen who called the emergency number “112”.
