Archimandrite Alexios Chehadeh, a close associate of Patriarch John of Antioch, passed away today at noon.
The late Archimandrite was in charge of development and humanitarian programmes and director of the Department of Ecumenical Relations and Development at Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch, while he had served as a priest in Germany. According to the Patriarchate of Antioch, the passing away of the late Archimandrite is due to the coronavirus.
