On Tuesday, February 18, Archbishop Makarios of Australia attended for the first time the annual Awards for Excellence Ceremony for students of the three Greek Orthodox Colleges in New South Wales.
The ceremony, organized for the seventh year by the Educational Council of the Holy Archdiocese, was hosted at the Saint Andrew’s Orthodox Theological College in Redfern, Sydney.
In his address, Archbishop Makarios congratulated the students and gave them his blessing. He wished them to make good progress and achieve similar distinction in the future.
