Archbishop Makarios of Australia, among his many undertakings for the spiritual edification of all Orthodox Christians in Australia, has blessed the initiative of establishing Ecclesiastical Byzantine Music Schools for all Archdiocesan Districts.
Following this blessed initiative of the Archbishop of Australia, the office of the Archdiocesan District of Adelaide informs all the faithful that the classes for Byzanitine Music chant in Adelaide will be held every Tuesday, at 6:30 pm, in the Parish facilities of St Nectarios, Croydon Park.
Classes will commence this Tuesday, August 18, and are for all ages and levels.
The Church invites young and old to study traditional ecclesiastical music, with which the Orthodox Christians pray the Lord, and through which the human soul ascends from the earthly world to heaven.
