Archbishop Ieronymos will visit the Phanar in June

In the beginning of June, Archbishop Ieronymos will visit the Phanar on the occasion of the name day of the Ecumenical Patriarch.

According to romfea.gr, this move is indicative that the “ice” between the two Primates has broken, and Archbishop Ieronymos decided to return the visit of the Patriarch.

“It is our first meeting after some disturbances that have taken place between us,” Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew said after his meeting with Archbishop Ieronymos on Wednesday, May 22, at the Holy Archdiocese.

On his part Archbishop Ieronymos expressed his gratitude for Patriarch’s presence in Greece.
