On Friday, March 29, amidst a religious atmosphere, the Service of the Third Stasis of the Akathist Hymn was held at the historic Church of Metamorphoseos Sotiros (Transfiguration of the Savior) (St. Savior of Kottaki), at Kydathinaion Str., Plaka.
The Third Stasis of the Salutations was performed in the presence of Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece.
The priest of the Holy Church of Metamorphoseos Sotiros, Archimandrite Bartholomew Antoniou-Triandafyllides, thanked the Archbishop for his presence in the, under renovation, Holy Church, as well as for his interest during the eleven years of the church’s reconstruction and maintenance.
Archbishop Ieronymos preached the Divine Word and urged the faithful congregation to resort to Virgin Mary with unshakable faith.
