Archbishop Ieronymos: An era is about to come to an end

During his speech in Chalkida, Archbishop Ieronymos spoke of the places he loved and said that an era was about to come to an end.

Moreover, Archbishop Ieronymos, who attended a special honorary event organised by the Evripeios Choir of Chalkida at the Amphitheatre of Chalkida City, spoke of the memories he recalled thanks to the organisers of the event.

He spoke of his special bond with Chalkida city and said, “As time passes, people get older and return to the places where they were born and raised. An era is about to come to an end. I recall places that were a starting point for me. I consider Chalkida my homeland.”

Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Chalkida and Bishop Filotheos of Oreoi, who is Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, attended the event.
